There is an old, old, joke in the Pagan & Witchcraft communities….

“If the Abrahamic faiths are Religions of the Book,
Then the Pagan faiths must be Religions of the Library!”

This is a list of books that I have personally read, or at the very least have read an edition of. It is my hope that this list is contains valuable reading for anyone who feels called to a Pagan spirituality. Amongst the titles here, this list encompasses a variety of books about Paganism from beginner to intermediate… the advanced study of Paganism often takes one entirely outside the topic area of Paganism and into History, Psychology, Sociology, Physics, Crafting, Culinary Arts, Anthropology and elsewhere! There are also books that are simply of interest to me as a Pagan or where the story or topic resonates with my own ongoing spiritual journey and religious experience, and so I present them for your consideration.

I am a Witch, and I guess that this list has a definite Witchcraft focus. It also needs some serious additions made to it as in the last several years a WHOLE LOT of very excellent and serious and smart books have been written about the faiths within the Pagan movement and about my own beloved Witchcraft.

So check back here every once in a while, especially as I mention a book in the blog…

And please remember, wherever possible, order your books through a local Pagan, or Pagan-friendly, independent book store!
